You’ve poured hours of hard work into planning your event – don’t let the photo and video content (or lack of it!) let you down! Whether it’s a high-energy conference, a networking event, or an exciting product launch, we love delivering top-notch content that aligns perfectly with your brand and marketing goals. As they say, the devil is in the details!

Here’s what we’ll need from you to make the magic happen…

📑 A clear brief

We’ll jump on a call to discuss your content requirements based on your marketing objectives. We’ll find out things like:

✅ The purpose of your video content:

  • To capture the buzz and energy around the event with a mash-up of testimonials
  • To share some value pieces from some key thought leaders at the event
  • To help promote sponsorship opportunities to potential future sponsors
  • To offer content that promotes the involvement of a sponsor, which they can then reshare and benefit from

✅ Where the content will be distributed

  • For example, long form content on YouTube and Linkedin, repurposed into bite-sized snippets for Instagram, as well as a selection of portrait and landscape photos for the website and socials.

✅ The event schedule & finer details

  • Let us know if there’s any special moments or guests we shouldn’t miss!

Whether it be full photo coverage, one hype video, or multiple reels for maximum impact in your social strategy, we can help discuss your goals and come up with a plan of attack!

🌟 Brand guidelines and assets

The cherry on top of every great video is customised motion graphics! Think branded lower thirds, end screens with a specific call-to-action, and slick transitions – all those things that help make your brand a little more memorable. If you supply the brand guidelines or assets, we can get to work with some dynamic animation.

🤝 An introduction to your team

We want to be an asset to your team and blend in seamlessly! While we’ll need a main point-of-contact, we ideally love meeting the broader team so they know who we are and what we’re up to.

If there are any other content creators on site, it’s helpful to know this in advance so we can best work together!

💬 Interview prep

If you’re after ‘Vox Pop’ style reels, featuring interview snippets and testimonials, we’ll help craft key questions in advance. We like to have both value-based (e.g., What’s the biggest challenge in marketing today?) and testimonial-based (e.g., What’s been the best thing about this event?).

You can help us by lining up any specific attendees you want to catch on camera, and informing them in advance that there may be a media opportunity.

🏢 A site visit before shooting (if possible!)

Particularly for large events, we like to visit the venue the day before, ideally at a time when you’ll be able to meet us briefly! This way we can find our bearings, scope out angles and lighting, and start with a bang the day of the event.
If an early visit isn’t possible, some site photos or insights from your team help us plan ahead!

🏷️ All-access passes for the team

If your event has wristbands or passes, we’ll need all-access ones for our crew. This helps us move freely and capture all the best moments without interruption!

🛋️ A little bit of space at the event (it’s not you, it’s us!)

We’ll need a safe space for storing equipment and charging batteries. If you’ve asked for a quick editing turnaround, we may request a quiet desk space with a charging port!

We love to be super prepared before any event, so will always guide you through these steps to ensure our shoot day goes off without a hitch.
