Meet Lucy
What inspired your love for film & photography?
Watching all the Harry Potter Behind-The-Scenes DVDs as a youngster, usually before the actual movies, and roping my sister into starring in every homemade video I could dream up.
What’s your superpower on the DHD team?
The Client Translator – getting inside a client’s mind and turning their challenges into visual stories that not only look great on screen, but solve real problems. Oh, and animating branded motion graphics for a fully polished finish.
What’s your editing guilty pleasure?
120fps super slow motion, when the moment is right!
Your dream client or shoot location
Anyone who values great storytelling, trusts our expertise, and gives us the time to really nail the pre-production as that’s where the magic starts. Bonus points if the shoot’s somewhere warm, like a sun-drenched villa in the south of Spain. We won’t complain!
Work aside, what else do you love?
Dancing, live music and theatre, and oat flat whites.

What inspired your love for film & photography?
Stealing my sisters old digital camera as a kid, which then turned into a DSLR. Taking photos and videos of friends and family they loved. Felt good to document and create memories that people would come back to year on year, like I still do with our childhood home videos.
What’s your superpower on the DHD team?
The Mood Setter – knowing exactly what song belongs on every timeline! And an eye for telling stories through a single photo composition.
What’s your editing guilty pleasure?
Emulating film and that nostalgia of growing up in the 90s. Handycam forever.
Your dream client or shoot location
Anywhere in the mountains with nice morning light.
Work aside, what else do you love?
Travelling, getting outside whether its on my bike or hiking, hanging with friends and family, shooting film and documenting life.
Meet Scott
What inspired your love for film & photography?
I was inspired by my brother who was always a huge film fanatic. Growing up, I remember always sneaking out of bed and peeking through the door to see what film he was watching. Probably a bad idea at the time, as a lot of them were horror movies.
What’s your superpower on the DHD team?
The Composition Conjurer – finding the perfect angle before the camera’s even rolling.
What’s your editing guilty pleasure?
Film Grain, Super 8 transitions and burns

Anything sport/doc/fashion related, or anywhere with visible heritage and character
Work aside, what else do you love?
I love sport, watching movies, and experimenting with AI capabilities
